Summer - Hiking in San Candido

Numerous trails start just a few steps away from our hotel. Hiking in San Candido promises pure fun and exercise. Take advantage of our own “in-house” mountain, Monte Baranci, or try to make the Carnic Alps Crossing/Traversata Carnica if you dare. And make sure not to miss sunrise on Monte Elmo: a magic experience in close contact with nature.

A network of trails winds through the Tre Cime Natural Park and the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park. Choose for yourself whether to relax with a leisurely stroll or set out on a more demanding trek among these majestic alpine peaks Whether you decide on a close-up look at the mighty Tre Cime/Three Peaks, romantic and wild Val Fiscalina, or Lake Braies – one of the most suggestive alpine lakes there is – or views of the panoramic Prato Piazza plateau, for hiking lovers, San Candido has very few equals indeed.
