Cycling in South Tyrol
A cycling and mountain biking holiday at the Leitlhof Hotel in Innichen, Hochpustertal.
Mountain biking in and around Innichen is of course part of an active summer holiday at the Leitlhof Hotel – Dolomiten. A perfectly developed cycling network runs through Hochpustertal as well as through South Tyrol. There are no limits when it comes to enjoying mountain biking: cycle in South Tyrol along the Drau Bike Path towards Austria to Sillian or Lienz, from Toblach to Cortina or along Rienz to Bruneck and further along Pustertal.
On the Dolomite Alps-Drau Bike Path
Your cycling trip to the “sun-city” Lienz starts right at your hotel in Innichen. Along the way you will be able to visit various sights, open-air pools and petting zoos and several inns invite you to lovely refreshments. If you don’t want to cycle all the way you can take the train for parts of the journey. For the return we recommend to go by train, which takes you back to Innichen every 30 minutes.
Insiders often prefer the path of the South Tyrol Dolomiti Superbike: Circulate Hochpustertal on the trail of the Dolomite’s most challenging mountain bike race. 119.9km and an altitude of 3,822 meters are waiting for you.
The more moderate alternative is only 56.9km long with an altitude of 1,688 metres.

Go on unforgettable cycling tours through the Sextner Dolomite Alps on the Stoneman-Trail:
The trail is more than 120 kilometres long and goes over an altitude of 4,000 metres. There are 5 checkpoints along the way and you need to pass the feared “’Demut-Passage” at 2,400 metres above sea level. Get your starting package!
