Start your tour to the Haunoldköpfl at the Haunold-lift’s lower terminus in Innichen. Our free hotel shuttle will gladly take you to the starting point.
From the lower terminus a comfortable hiking path leads through the idyllic conifer forest to the Haunold. Breathe the magic smell of the alpine forests on the Sextner Dolomites on your way up and take a break every now and then in order to enjoy the panorama.
Walk over the path 28 and then on the toboggan run to the rustic Riese Haunold hut. From there continue your hike, after a nice break and a South Tyrolean Marende, up to the Haunoldköpfl (2,168m)
Once arrive the views over the South Tyrolean Dolomites will take your breath away – the hike up here is worth the effort!
An easy tour with high reward
A hike from the lower terminus to the Haunoldköpfl takes you about 3 hours if you walk in a convenient pace, you will leave an altitude of almost 1,000m behind you and the hike is 7.7 kilometres long.
