Skiers’ Christmas 3 Zinnen - The world’s only Christmas ski area

The sound of music, delicious food, magical sparkling lights. The Three Peaks Dolomites ski resort nestles in the snow-covered Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And from 2 December to 7 January 2017 it will be the one and only ski area in the world to dress up in fairy-tale Christmas costume.

Ski Pustertal Express

A new skiing dimension in South Tyrol: Every 30 minutes the Ski Val Pusteria express train takes skiers within 35 minutes from the Three Peaks/3 Zinnen Dolomites ski resort to the skiing region Plan de Corones. This opens up over 200 km of pistes for you. No cumbersome taking off of ski boots, no laborious car journey. Family highlights

Especially our youngest guests will feel right at home at the Three Peaks Dolomites ski resort. Children’s dreams will come true at the region’s top family mountain, the Baranci. This is the perfect spot for kids to ski into the valley from the top for the first time on a variety of slopes. Three sledging tracks on various mountains, the only reindeer herd in Italy, the imposing family of giant snowmen, and the cosy ski huts with their own kid’s menus round out the offerings available to families in the Three Peaks Dolomites.

Guaranteed snow for skiing and snowboarding

100 km of piste bliss await you in Hochpustertal with guaranteed snow – located at almost 2,000 metres above sea level in the middle of the South Tyrolean Dolomites Alps. Ski runs for all difficulty levels stir the blood of beginners and advanced skiers.

31 lift facilities will take you to the ski resort Three Peaks/3 Zinnen Dolomites, including 1 cable car, 2 chair lifts with covers, 5 chair lifts and 20 ski lifts.

Sledging - Fun at every turn

You’ll have fun at every turn on any of the three sledging runs on different mountains. Our cable cars and lifts will take care of the challenging part, namely transporting the sledge uphill. That means you can fully concentrate on the joy of sledging. Snow machines ensure that the sledging run are snow covered even when winter is not on our side!

Giro delle Cime Wednesday and Sunday December 27th – March 18th | Start 9.35 am

Free Fall Ride - From 26th December Daily on request

Lots of adrenaline and exciting insights into the daily work at cable car and lift stations is offered to experienced piste athletes choosing the “Free Fall Ride” Three Peaks/3 Zinnen Dolomites ski resort.
Aaccompany technicians into the cockpit of a snow groomer on its evening ride, which provides almost exactly as much thrill on Italy’s steepest groomed slope as the descent itself. Once the slopes are prepared for the next day, you can head back to the valley by snow groomer.

 

Reindeer feeding Thursday from December 28th – April 5th 2018 from 2 pm

Italy’s only reindeer herd are the famous, local stars of the vast preserve at the Croda Rossa. Feeling homey in the wild nature of the Three Peaks/3 Zinnen in the Dolomites, the shaggy animals provide amusing and fascinating encounters, even on the ski slopes sometimes.
The reindeer feeding at the Croda Rossa cable car mountain station is not only an unforgettable winter highlight for kids. Visitors may lend a helping hand when the smallest reindeer herd of the Alps gets its main course consisting of islandic moss, and mixed grain balls, “reindeer bonbons”, for dessert.

Night skiing & tobogganing - Tuesday & Friday December 26th – March 9th 2018 | from 7 pm until 10 pm

Monte Baranci is bathed in floodlight from 7-10pm and the atmosphere is fit for a world cup, providing both superlative night skiing and sledging on run a 3km in length. The Rifugio Gigante Baranci mountain hut is open. 

Drei Zinnen Snow-Parks

Ambitious freestyler and jump beginners will find the perfect thrill in the Drei Zinnen Snow-Park on the Helm. On 450 metres you will find 8 consecutive tables, one kick and one jib each. There is also a Wave T Box, a Rainbow T Box and a Straight Box.

  • In the “Kids learn Park” the young stylers can make their first kicks on the 3 tables, one woops line and various beginners’ structures.
  • Kids Skicross Park At the foot of the Haunold cool kids spend their days on the ski-cross world cup ski run. 6 curves, 12 waves and 4 kickers provide the perfect rush of adrenaline.
  • Shaka Snowpark On 200m jumpers will find various kickers and Pustertal’s only Big-Airbag. The park in Toblach is perfect for free-styling and jump trainings.
